Noel Barnes’ studio is located near the picturesque South West town of Donnybrook.

A full-time practicing artist, he specialises in ornithological and aviation paintings, in oil and acrylic. These photo-realist works capture detail, but Noel adopts a loose expressive style for his paintings of local landscapes and seascapes.

Noel enjoys passing on his artistic knowledge and skills by teaching art part-time at Grace Christian School in Bunbury, as a tutor at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries, and by giving private tuition. He also works with young people, encouraging them to engage with the creative process in community art projects.
